WHY THIS BLOG?

I AM PARCA'S CHOSEN:
My name is Denise Sevier-Fries (nee Buchy). Parca is the Roman Goddess of Childbirth and Destiny and after you get to know me, you will see why I believe she has, without doubt, made me her Poster Child. Come here for some serious issues, but mainly just some cheeky fun; satire with the odd parody tossed in, and a generous helping of hyperbole, with a dollop of facetiousness.

I am Canadian so expect a bit of politeness too. Sorry.

*cough* NOW EXCUSE ME WHILE I GO THROW UP.
(...and for those who will inevitably ask, I made this post for the sake of showcasing some very difficult scenes acted well, which I think the actors deserve credit for just as much as their realistic make-out scenes and fight sequences...)

  1. The actors are incredible, and the range of emotions they are expected to "nail" is phenomenal. They draw us into their story completely and let us experience the scenes fully - truly a feat! Yes, a lot of scenes were hard to watch, but when presented by master actors such as these people are, there's also a horrific beauty......

    1. Horrific beauty indeed Ingrid. I am a late fan of the show...took 9 hours of binge watching on a European flight to win me over, but for whatever reason, I am now excited about S2. Thanks for the comment.

  2. The actors are beyond magnificent....Besides being naturally talented....they are trained and that is evident in all scenes...It is no wonder they have captured such an audience. Horrid, difficult scenes to watch, but everything moves the story line forward...nothing is horrid, just for horrid sake

  3. Jeanne: I cannot imagine acting scenes like this. I like being on stage etc...but it isn't in me to make horrid things 'real'. Takes a certain personality I guess... *shiver*
